Course Descriptions

When it comes to SharePoint training, we've got you covered.  We have classes that help you learn everything there is to know about SharePoint Products and Technologies.  Here is a brief description of each course, with links to further details about each one:

SharePoint Bootcamp (v3/2007)
"Everything you can do with SharePoint before opening Visual Studio"

This is our flagship course, and the first public Windows SharePoint Services class ever taught (by anyone).  Managers, developers, designers, and every day knowledge workers will find this class both challenging and rewarding.  We'll teach you how to build a project management application, and how to fully utilize 2007 Microsoft Office system applications in your SharePoint environment.  Imagine, finally understanding everything that SharePoint can do for you, no matter what your skill level!  If you only have the budget for one class, even if you're an advanced .NET developer, this is the class to take.  [more details...]

Note: this class is also available for private on-site deliveries for customers using v3/2007 only.

SharePoint Development Bootcamp (v3/2007)
"All .NET, all the time. Code warriors, this is your class."

Now this is what Bootcamps are all about. Imagine yourself at a SharePoint Development Bootcamp: If you've never seen an advanced developer sweat, just look at the student sitting next to you. From the basics of web part creation, to advanced topics like feature stapling and building a better base web part class, the SharePoint Development Bootcamp is for the "SuperGeek™" in you.

That's right, we've found a way to make an administration class interesting!  Don't just re-hash existing administration guides, attend the SharePoint Administration and Planning Bootcamp and you'll not only learn how to administer your SharePoint Implementation from start to finish, but you'll have a solid planning foundation for your roll-out.  From interview worksheets to sample SLAs, you'll get a lot of take home goodies for this class.  Starting a fresh 2007 deployment?  Upgrading from 2003?  Start here!   [more details...]

SharePoint Branding Bootcamp (v3/2007)
"Please, make it look like anything but SharePoint!"

SharePoint's nice looking, but it's not hot.  During this class, you'll learn all about customizing the look and feel of your SharePoint sites, understand the technologies behind page layouts, and find out how to apply your graphical mojo to SharePoint sites.

Note: This class is v3/2007 only, and will be available for private on-site deliveries in August, 2007.

SharePoint End-user Bootcamp (v3/2007)
"I just work here, can you help me out, too?"

Yes.  Yes, we can.  The SharePoint End-user Bootcamp is designed for knowledge workers, those folks who live on their SharePoint sites day in, day out, and want to understand how to use them more effectively.  It's like a "lite" version of the original SharePoint Bootcamp above, custom tailored to the typical corporate environment, and designed to make you feel comfortable with your SharePoint knowledge.
